Bernd Schlipphak, Professor of Empirical Methods of Social Research at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Münster, will be a guest of the Global Governance department from the end of January to the end of February 2025. Previously, he was a guest of the then Department of Transnational Conflicts and International Institutions in September 2010. He subsequently worked as a post-doc at the Universities of Salzburg and Göttingen and from 2013-2016 as a Junior Professor of Quantitative Methods at the University of Münster. Since 2016, he has been Professor of Empirical Methods in Social Research at the University of Münster. His research interests focus on questions of legitimacy of international and national governance, incorporating research perspectives from international relations, political communication research and political psychology.
