Imanol Negral

Imanol Negral is a visiting researcher at the research department Global Governance, focusing on the Radical Right parties in Europe and the voters who support this type of political party. He is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of the Basque Country (Spain). His thesis, "Nostalgia, delegitimisation and polarisation. Understanding electoral support for Radical Right parties in Europe through the theory of political backlash attitudes", from a comparative perspective and using a quantitative methodology, explores the political attitudes of voters who support Radical Right parties in order to determine the dynamics and factors that explain their remarkable electoral performance.
