Jacint Jordana Casajuana, currently a visiting researcher at the Global Governance unit, is Professor of Political Science and Public Administration at University of Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and president of the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI). His research focuses on the analysis of comparative public policies from a multilevel perspective, with special attention to regulatory policies and their specialized institutions. He is the academic coordinator of EU-Values, a Jean Monnet Network devoted to values and democracy in foreign policy issues. His GG-project aims to better understand the role of IRAs as non-majoritarian institutions in democratic countries.
Jacint Jordana Casajuana also was a guest of the research unit Transnational Conflicts and International Institutions (TKI) already from November 2009 until July 2010, as well as in summer 2007. His main area of research was public policy analysis, with special attention given to regulatory policy and regulatory governance.
